National Night Out
October  4, 2016 6-8pm
at the Village Green in Nashville

NNO 2016 Logo.jpg

The 2016 National Night Out is for local police departments and the community to come together for an evening of fun, food and games.  The event helps to: Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; Generate support for, and participation in, local anti crime programs; Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

A great evening of free food and drinks, DJ, games and prizes!  Residents got together to meet their local emergency responders and see their equipment that they use every day.

The 2016 Nashville NNO is sponsored by the Brown County Community Foundation. Without the BCCF this event would not have been possible.

NNO is also sponsored by WKKG 101.5 radio station in Columbus, IN. WKKG was kind enough again this year to run radio ads promoting NNO. A special thanks to the Town of Nashville, Brown County Sheriff's Department, McDonalds,  Seward Party Rentals, Uncle Beni's BBQ,  Indiana DNR Conservation Law Enforcement, Indiana State Police, Columbus Regional Hospital and Hamblen Township Volunteer Fire Department. These organizations have made donations either of time or equipment and without their help as well this event could not be possible.
