Brown County PACES (Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences) Initiative

This project, created by Centerstone in partnership with The Brown County Recovery and Wellness Coalition, seeks to prevent substance use disorders and strengthen family services in Brown County.

Brown County PACES is inviting you to participate in The Brown County Community Survey on Mental Health and Well-Being. Findings from this survey will be used to identify and prioritize community needs (programming, services, and supports), as well as future training opportunities. This survey is anonymous, and your responses will be combined with all other community members.

This survey is voluntary, however any feedback and information your can provide about community health and well-being in Brown County is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please contact Mandy Kinnaird (Amanda.Kinnaird@centerstone.org).

This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Click the link below to complete the survey by December 15, 2023.

Centerstone Rapid Response Program - Call 877-463-6512 for help.

Experiencing a mental health crisis can be scary, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Centerstone provides a continuum of crisis services where specially trained counselors are able to support you, your family, or loved ones who may be experiencing a crisis. One way we do this is through the Rapid Response Program.

The Rapid Response Program makes mental health crisis care more accessible by:

  • Connecting community members in-crisis to the STRIDE Center, so they can receive 24/7 mental health treatment from trained providers

  • Offering mobile crisis care to meet people where they are during their time of need

IERA2 provides assistance by paying past due and up to three months of future rent for eligible Hoosier renters.

There are three ways to apply:

On top of the child development piece, we work on community resourcing and increasing protective factors, goal planning with the family, crisis prevention--even including other siblings in the mix and general household concerns as a whole.
