Willow Stake Planting
Join us on Friday March 31, and/or Saturday April 1, to install 600 willow stakes into the banks of Clay Lick Creek to help reduce erosion.

Location: CYO Camp Rancho Framasa, 2230 Clay Lick Rd, Nashville, IN 47448
No experience needed. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
Volunteers will work in pairs (you can sign up solo and team up with a partner on-site). One person will insert a piece of rebar into the eroded area of the creek bank to make a pilot hole, and the partner volunteer will stick a 2 ft long willow stake into each hole.
Parking is available on-site; carpooling is encouraged.
What to wear/bring: BYOG (Bring your own gloves). Wear rubber/waterproof boots and dress for the weather. If you have a mallet to use for the pilot holes, please bring it. Remember to LABEL your tools.
