PRESS RELEASE: STATUS PRIORITY
Hot Rod Power Tour coming through Brown County Wednesday June 12th between 10 am - noon.
Several thousand vehicles could cause traffic congestion and delays The 2019 HOT ROD Power Tour, which kicked off on Saturday, June 8, in Concord, North Carolina, will be making their way into Brown County on Wednesday, June 12th between 10 am and noon.
The Hot Rod Power Tour has approximately 5,000 vehicles of all makes and models.
The tour will enter Brown County on State Road 135 from Jackson County, traveling through Story before turning left onto State Road 46 near Gnaw Bone. From there they will continue through Nashville on State Road 46 to Bloomington.
We ask that you be patient and plan to travel a different route or at a different time as the large number of vehicles are expected to cause traffic delays.
Law Enforcement from Brown County Sheriff's Department and Nashville Police Department will be out at various intersections to monitor traffic conditions throughout the morning.
